How You Can Help

Project SUCCESS succeeds only because generous people volunteer their time to work with our students and families, and because generous donors make gifts that support our program.  Due to the amazing outpouring of support, Project SUCCESS was able to accomplish the following in the 2005-2006 school year:

  • conducted more than 1500 in-class, goal-setting workshops;
  • over 8,000 middle and high school students attended workshops in their schools facilitated by Project SUCCESS facilitators;
  • hosted 89 weekly after-school guidance sessions at North, South and Southwest High Schools, attended by almost 500 students over the year;
  • took over 4,800 students to 30 daytime field trips to area theaters;
  • brought 21,000 students and their families to 132 evening theater performances through our partnerships with 18 area theaters;
  • brought 325 high school students to tour 40 local and out-of-state colleges;
  • produced Little Shop of Horrors at Anwatin Middle School with over 150 students who served as actors and back stage technicians; and
  • provided an opportunity for 56 Anwatin Middle School students to spend seven days in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
